Tapp fires pro-Israel criticism at Burnham

Mike Tapp takes aim at Burnham

Israel fanatic Labour MP Mike Tapp appears to have attempted to fire a Starmeroid ‘shot across the bows’ of new Makerfield MP Andy Burnham. Of course, being pro-Israel and Starmeroid, it’s grossly hypocritical as well as awful.

Tapp told the BBC this morning that if Burnham or anyone else tries to challenge Keir Starmer, they would face pressure to stick closely to Starmer’s model of government. That means war on UK freedoms to protect Israel, along with cuts, privatisation and attempts to outdo fascist Reform on racial incitement.

But Tapp framed it as not going “too far from [Labour’s 2024 general election] manifesto”. That is a document that Starmer proceeded to shred as soon as he got into Downing Street. It’s also a document in which much of what Starmer has done in power didn’t appear at all. Commentator Saul Staniforth was rightly quick to point this out:

Dead-eyed Dick

Tapp is a vice-chair of the Labour Friends of Genocide (LFI) group and therefore an appalling human being. But he manages to be one of LFI’s most snide, smirking and brutality-positive exemplars – a very difficult bar to limbo under. This was a point that didn’t escape many who responded to Staniforth:

Some got quite pithy about it:

Tapp’s implied threat didn’t go unnoticed either:

Nor did the fact that Tapp is a supporter of Starmer’s ‘mini-me but even more shiny’ continuity candidate Wes Streeting:

Burnham has already shown far too many signs of being willing to align with the pro-Israel, billionaire-licking Starmeroid right. But, like the genocidal colony he adores, Tapp apparently only wants 100% fealty and compliance and appears to be laying down a marker.
