The grandson of one of Africa’s most iconic post-colonial leaders has told a court in London why he helped the protest group Palestine Action. William Nyerere Plastow, 35, is charged with criminal damage in connection with a Palestine Action raid at an Israeli-owned arms factory in Bristol in August 2024.
