Israel has been caught in a new campaign to influence how AI chatbots answer questions about its genocidal military and its crimes in Gaza. Again. The new campaign set up a fake ‘think tank‘ — the ‘Hanover Institute’ — to whitewash pro-Israel propaganda and fool chatbots. It comes after Israel’s earlier huge spending through a Trump-linked PR firm to pervert AI responses — and organised through the same French firm, Havas Media.
