Scotland’s highest civil court has ruled that guidance allowing some trans women to be housed in women’s prisons was unlawful. Campaign groups have voiced shock and outrage at the “biggest rollback of disability rights in a generation” following a Supreme Court ruling concerning individuals who lack the capacity to consent to their living arrangements.
