The Canary recently spoke to Irish satirist and pro-Palestine activist Tadhg Hickey, as he faces further pushback from the pro-Israel lobby. His YouTube channel has been taken down, apparently for “endorsing criminal organisations”. Hickey has long maintained his public support for the right of resistance, which is a legal right enshrined under international law, for a captive or occupied population to resist their occupier.
