From Qalandiya to Jenin, Israel’s war on West Bank refugee camps
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have ended their raid on Qalandiya Refugee Camp and neighbouring Kafr Aqab, north of occupied East Jerusalem. This followed a dawn assault on 5 August that saw roads blocked and residents placed under strict curfew. The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) reported that more than 60 Palestinians had been arrested and interrogated by 12pm local time on 6 August. Those detained included women and children.
