Good news everybody, Kemi Badenoch wants to work with PM Andy Burnham to fix social care. Only, the leader of the least relevant opposition party in recent memory has some demands that she’s definitely in a position to make… The Guardian reported yesterday, 27 July, that the new Labour leader is seeking long-lasting change for UK social care. Andy Burnham PM has already upset millions across Scotland and Wales before he steps into Downing Street (figuratively, at least, since he apparently plans to live elsewhere). We have all heard about those with extreme views being cancelled on social media sites. But how many vulnerable people are outright ignored? The Green Party is likely to be the most credible left-wing option in Manchester’s mayoral election on 30 July. But to win, the Greens need to make sure their messaging is as strong as possible. Are Greens ‘the only party that can beat Reform’? It would be great, for example, if the Greens could avoid using the phrase ‘we’re the only party’.
