According to a statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture Israel have inflicted “unprecedented devastation” on Gaza. In the almost three years since the genocide began Israel have repeatedly carried out damage to Palestinian infrastructure. Gaza: agricultural losses estimated in the billions Damage exceeded 85 percent across most agricultural sub-sectors, resulting in a near total collapse of the agricultural production system. Losses were estimated to be worth around £2.6 billion. Unprecedented urgency to protect Gaza’s 58,550 orphans according to new report

A new report titled Lighting the Path for Orphaned Children in Gaza – A Call to Action, has been published by non-profit organisation Taawon. It lays bare the scale of Gaza’s orphan crisis, and the failure of the system which is meant to be responding to it, but which the Israeli occupation has intentionally shattered during the genocide.
