Ireland fans protest ‘unconscionable’ Israel fixture during Qatar match

Irish football supporters in Dublin interrupted the national team’s match against Qatar by throwing Palestine-themed tennis balls on the pitch. The fans were protesting at the Football Association of Ireland’s (FAI) disgraceful refusal to call off the team’s October Nations League fixture against the abomination that is so-called ‘Israel’. Supporters threw the balls on two occasions during the first half, resulting in the referee pausing the match.
