The UK’s politico-media class loves a bit of pearl-clutching over the phrase “from the river to the sea”. It’s treated as ‘hate’ and a ‘call for the destruction of Israel’. Except when it comes from the Israeli regime, of course. Then it’s fine and dandy. ‘Nothing to see here, move along’… So with Benjamin Netanyahu’s latest, it’s far from the first time he and other colonisers have used it, but as shameless as could be.
