The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has set a date to hear the Senegalese Football Federation’s appeal against the decision to award the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) title to Morocco. CAS announced that the arbitration panel would begin its deliberations following the hearing on 8 October. The case stems from the tournament final on 18 January which descended into chaos after a penalty was awarded to Morocco in stoppage time following a VAR review.
