Independent MP Adnan Hussain has demanded action from the UK government after London Labour Mayor Sadiq Khan admitted Israel’s genocide in Gaza. Khan is supported in his demand by at least nine other parliamentarians. International law requires International Criminal Court (ICC) member states take every available action to prevent genocide. The Starmer government contorted itself shamelessly to strenuously deny the genocide. New PM Andy Burnham has shown similar evasiveness. But Khan’s admission, coming from one of the Labour party’s most senior representatives, puts the Burnham government firmly on the legal hook. Green leader Zack Polanski has called for ‘immediate escalation’ from Mayor of London Sadiq Khan over clearly “unlawful activity” at the Great Israeli Real Estate event. However, on 21 May, Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) exercised its power to block…

London mayor Sadiq Khan has royally annoyed the Met Police after he blocked a £50m deal to hand the cops Palantir technology. Palantir is the genocide-linked AI war firm which has won major military and NHS contracts. Palantir’s founders have openly espoused a far-right ideology. The Guardian reported: After the UK’s largest police force had agreed to use Palantir’s AI technology to automate intelligence analysis in criminal investigations, Khan intervened, citing “serious concerns” about how the deal had been struck. The mayor’s office said there had been a “clear and serious breach” of procurement rules and said police had only seriously…
