Amid the Gaza genocide, Farnborough airshow invited Israel’s three largest arms firms. None wanted media scrutiny Israel’s largest arms firms angrily refused to answer questions from independent media at an arms fair in England on Monday. They had been invited to the Farnborough International Airshow despite being required by French authorities to cover their stands in black drapes at the Paris airshow last year. One company at Farnborough, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), even threatened to report journalists to police for asking questions about its role in the Gaza genocide. IAI makes the Heron surveillance drone which its chief executive Boaz Levy…

Evidence in the Undercover Policing Inquiry recently revealed that BAE Systems, the UK’s largest arms company, offered the Metropolitan police money to spy on anti arms trade campaigners. This followed the 1996 Seeds of Hope Ploughshares action which caused £1.4m worth of damage to Hawk aircraft. Four women were acquitted of criminal damage charges on the basis they were preventing a greater crime by taking action to stop BAE Systems exporting the aircraft to Indonesia for use in war crimes against people in East Timor. The information emerged during the questioning of former detective chief inspector Dell on 1 July 2026.…

Deranged Israel-first senator Graham dies after visit to Ukraine arms factory

  • Post author:

Rabidly Israel-first US senator Lindsey Graham has died aged 71. His office described his death as coming after a “brief and sudden” illness. Graham was one of the more unhinged US politicians, even among Trump supporters. Irredeemably Israel-first, he even threatened a US invasion of the International Criminal Court over its arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu. Lindsey Graham — Shameless genocider Graham was a shameless supporter of Israel’s genocide in Gaza, though he would never have admitted it is a genocide. His comments make clear he had no concern whatsoever for Israel’s hundreds of thousands of Palestinian victims: “I am with…

RUK Advanced Systems Ltd helped fund a group of British MPs as part of a ‘PR and marketing campaign’ A British weapons firm owned by the Israeli government has been brought back to life, after its lobbying activities were exposed by Declassified last year. RUK Advanced System Ltd is registered in London, but records show it is a subsidiary of Israel’s state owned arms giant, Rafael. In October, documents were filed with Companies House to shut the business down, following our investigation. But it’s now been revived – and claims to be supplying British armed forces. Last year, we revealed how…

Starmer hands arms dealers billions meant for roads and energy

  • Post author:

Shameless lapdog of elite interests Keir Starmer has once again announced that his government will be handing arms dealers billions of pounds. This time, it’ll be taking money away from road and energy projects to pay for it. Starmer is leaving, but still screwing us over Starmer’s corporate cronies have long said a lack of funds is why they can’t fund public services properly. But because Big Brother in the US wants the UK to splurge billions more on arms, our subservient political class has obliged. And Starmer even had the nerve to brag about keeping public finances “under control” as he…

Stop the War slams media platforming generals and arms companies

  • Post author:

Keir Starmer announced his defence investment plan (DIP) today and while the media is welcoming it with open arms (pun intended), the Stop the War (StW) Coalition has rightly called out the BS. The FT said the increase in defence spending of approximately £15 billion was recently raised by £1 billion in the wake of John Healey’s resignation as defence secretary this month. It has apparently been signed off by Starmer’s expected successor, Andy Burnham. Stop the War: ‘Never mind the cost of living crisis…’ Stop the War (StW) Coalition posted on X that generals and arms companies have been all…

Andy Burnham was funded by director of Gaza genocide-linked arms firm

  • Post author:

Any illusions of Labour Party “change” under Andy Burnham were dispelled last week when he appointed lobbyist, Blairite minister, ex-Labour Friends of Israel chair, and Peter Mandelson’s “boy” James Purnell as his chief of staff. The line from Team Burnham is that Purnell has cut all ties with Flint Global, the lobbying firm he led and held shares in until last week. But it seems that the firm has a history when it comes to conflicts of interest. Flint Global Flint Global’s current Defence Advisory Practice lead, James Clark, was previously outed as being a co-founder of the All Party Parliamentary…

The UK bought massive amounts of Israel’s military gear between 2023 and 2025 — the most intense years of the genocide. UN figures show a spike of 10,589 percent in Israeli imports with the British police and military being major recipients. Israel has been found, by the UN, to have committed genocide against Palestinians. Declassified UK reported: Figures from the UN Comtrade database show that UK imports from Israel of arms, ammunition and related parts increased from just £55,000 in 2023 to almost £5.9 million in 2025. That is equivalent to around a 10,589 percent rise during two years in which…

Hung jury in case of four protesters who raided Wolverhampton arms factory said to produce “military aircraft parts for Israel” After more than 17 hours of deliberation, a jury at Birmingham crown court has failed to reach a verdict over whether four pro-Palestine activists committed criminal damage at an arms factory. Iain Evans, Hana-Yun Stevens, Frank Sherman, and Hisham Alkhamezi were each accused of criminal damage at a factory owned by Moog, a US aerospace firm, in Wolverhampton. During the trial, the jury saw footage from helicopters and CCTV cameras which showed the defendants crashing through the site’s front gate and…

Student protesters have released footage and delivered letters to Sompo Insurance headquarters, defying attempts by event organisers to cover up the violent removal of activists from a major London financial conference. The incident occurred at the Insurance Linked Securities Conference, hosted by Insurance Insider, where four activists, including a 17-year-old student, were pushed and dragged from the venue by security. Security guards manhandled the 17-year-old student out of the event, as she shouted: “I’m just 17” and “Stop insuring genocide”. PM hopeful Al Carns threatens more austerity to enrich arms companies

  • Post author:
  • Post last modified:14 June 2026

According to former ministers like Al Carns, the UK is facing the imminent threat of war. In a sense, this is always true, because the UK and the US regularly initiate conflict. And while we could simply stop committing ourselves to these illegal wars of aggression, Labour MPs like Carns and Lisa Nandy are instead proposing a fresh round of austerity: Nandy: "We've got to significantly increase the amount we're spending on defence" Over the last several days I haven't seen a single interviewer question this claim. Instead the challenge to politicians making it is, are you increasing it fast enough/by…

Labour members overwhelmingly support ban on arms to Israel

  • Post author:

New polling of Labour Party members shows they overwhelmingly oppose the UK selling arms to Israel. They also want an end to trade with Israel’s illegal settlements. Over 60% are dissatisfied with the UK government’s response to Israel’s atrocities in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and want it to take stronger action. This includes an 87% majority backing a ban on trade with illegal settlements, and a 78% majority backing the suspension of all UK arms exports to Israel. The poll also found over two-thirds support suspending the UK-Israel Trade and Partnership Agreement. The polling, commissioned by Save the Children UK, Christian…
