Even eyesight is not taken for granted in the prisons of Israel. I am a human rights lawyer. I have had a client for four years now, and we have become good friends. A dangerous and rapidly escalating outbreak of the skin disease scabies is again sweeping through Israeli occupation prisons. This is causing huge suffering to the many thousands of Palestinian political prisoners who, for the past few years, have intentionally had the worst conditions ever inflicted on them.
