Speaking to Laura Kuenssberg, David Lammy has denied that the police are institutionally racist. In doing so, he referenced the Casey Report — a report which found evidence of institutional racism in 2023. Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez has a solid record of resistance to Israel’s genocide in Gaza. But he must now show emphatic action against Spanish police after another brutal attack on peaceful protesters.
