Shameful Sinn Féin allow extension of F-35 warplane factory to proceed
In a move that reveals the party’s pro-Palestine sentiment to be entirely hollow, Sinn Féin have allowed an extension to a north of Ireland factory producing components for F-35 warplanes. So-called ‘Israel’ has used the jets extensively to murder civilians in its genocidal assault on Gaza. The factory in question is Moyola Precision Engineering in Castledawson, a village within Mid Ulster District Council (MUDC) boundaries. On 7 July, the council’s 16-member planning committee shamefully voted to permit the enlargement of the illegal factory.
