A bill before the US Congress seeks to essentially merge the US and Israeli militaries — with many saying it puts the IOF in the driving seat. Many would say the IOF already is, of course. The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) shouldn’t force people living with terminal illness and progressive, life-limiting conditions to undergo stressful, costly and unnecessary disability benefit reassessments. Billy Allison, of Operation Raise the Colours, has been charged with murder and grievous bodily harm with intent. It follows an assault outside a Lichfield bar, in the West Midlands, on Sunday 24 May, in which two men were punched. One of the victims sadly died on Tuesday. A bill that would outlaw the cruel practice of hunting wild mammals with dogs has now reached the committee stage at Stormont. Israel launched an intense bombardment across southern Lebanon on the eve of Eid. Over 100 airstrikes were accompanied by ferocious artillery bombardments across the south and in Bekaa.
