Burnham slams ‘desperate’ Farage over vile AI slop-post

On 30 May, Nigel Farage posted the latest in a long line of dehumanising political ads. Reacting with more good humour than Farage deserved, Makerfield candidate Andy Burnham responded as follows: Are you getting desperate, lad? Maybe keep your crypto millions for something else. — Andy Burnham (@AndyBurnhamGM) May 30, 2026 Using refugees as pawns like this shows that Farage lacks any empathy whatsoever. And if he cares this little for the people who are most in need, we’ve got bad news for anyone deluded enough to think he cares about them. Nasty Nigel Farage later highlighted what he was talking…

Trump loses it as US’s 250th Anniversary plans collapse

Trump — As we find ourselves in the 250th anniversary of America’s founding, the country is more American than ever. This isn’t a compliment, of course, but it is a way of introducing the chaos we’re seeing around the anniversary planning — chaos even right-wingers are calling out: I’m actually pretty pissed at how badly they’ve bungled America 250. First they tried to invite Milli Vanilli and a bunch of other absurdly washed up geriatric one hit wonders. Then when that didn’t work they decided to convert the event into a Trump rally where Trump will talk… https://t.co/lYo2jUWOLy — Matt Walsh…

In 2024, Labour pledged to equalise the minimum wage across all age bands. Now, a senior minister has claimed that the act of governing is completely out of the hands of government: Page 45 of Labours 2024 manifesto stated: "Labour will also remove the discriminatory age bands so all adults are entitled to the same minimum wage" Pat McFadden is asked, when are you going to do this? McFadden says its not up to the govt to do it. pic.twitter.com/RSVJaZvf7x — Saul Staniforth (@SaulStaniforth) May 31, 2026 Has there ever been a government as comfortable with u-turning as the Starmer regime?…

Kemi Badenoch has argued that the next generation of Conservatives need to be C words. If you’re thinking ‘aren’t they already?‘, we can explain: I can think of a sixth C https://t.co/LPcvwY7kT9 — Ian Sharp (@gablid) May 31, 2026 Kemi Badenoch — Do you C what she did there? This latest intervention comes from a Badenoch-penned think piece titled: This Z-list Labour Parliament is everything that’s wrong with British politics You don’t have to read between the lines to understand that Badenoch is promising a return to the traditional Tory values of bungs for business and austerity for the masses: I…

Rumours swirl of an early election if Burnham wins

  • Post author:
  • Post last modified:8 June 2026

Andy Burnham is running to become the MP for Makerfield, Wigan. As everyone knows, if Burnham wins, he’ll challenge Keir Starmer for the Labour leadership, becoming the PM if he succeeds. Given that Labour has a huge majority and the party doesn’t have to call an election until 2029, most assume he won’t go to the polls early. If rumours are to be believed, however, he might be eyeing one up: EXCL: Andy Burnham is considering holding a snap general election if he becomes PM.https://t.co/4vTIQ2oH5Y — Kate Ferguson (@kateferguson4) May 30, 2026 Wargaming The latest rumours comes from the Sun, and…

  • Post author:

Labour MP Richard Burgon has spoken out against Ofgem’s price cap rise, labelling it a “total con”: Ofgem’s so-called energy price cap is a total con. Bills are going up again We need a real price cap that protects ordinary people, paid for through the profits of energy giants. We need to replace expensive gas with cheaper renewables. And energy back in public ownership! — Richard Burgon MP (@RichardBurgon) May 27, 2026 Ofgem energy price cap Reporting on the latest Ofgem price hike, the Canary’s Rose Cocker explained: On 27 May energy regulator Ofgem announced that it will raise the energy price…

Mothin Ali tells Labour to stop begging the Greens to stand down

  • Post author:
  • Post last modified:8 June 2026

There are many people attached to the Labour Party who have argued the Greens should do the ‘decent thing’ and stand down in the Makerfield by-election. The counter-argument to this is why would they? And as the Greens’ deputy leader Mothin Ali has now said: If Burnham can't win an election without the Greens giving him an easy ride, how's he going to beat Reform in a general election? — Mothin Ali (@MothinAli) May 26, 2026 Put up or shut up The Makerfield race may be the most decisive by-election in British electoral history. Reform is pretending its Makerfield candidate was Action Man

Reform UK’s candidate in the Makerfield by-election is one Robert Kenyon. So far, Kenyon has attracted a great deal of criticism for the things he’s said in the past and the things he’s saying right now. Kenyon isn’t the only one talking nonsense, however, with his party joining in too: He was a Lance Corporal in the Army Reserves. Stop trying to make it out as anything more than it is. He’s also a sexist and a perv. pic.twitter.com/O2Urc8Q0J2 — Reform Party UK Exposed (@reformexposed) May 26, 2026 Reform gets territorial As Reform Exposed notes above, Kenyon was a member of…

The deluded Tories are foolishly attacking nationalisation

  • Post author:
  • Post last modified:8 June 2026

In a new video, leader of the Tories Kemi Badenoch has unveiled her latest desperate push to remain relevant. The problem is her new plan is to oppose something which enjoys almost universal support from the public: Starmer, Burnham, Farage, Polanski…These men have one thing in common. They all want nationalisation. That will mean companies run by politicians but paid for with YOUR money. There’s only one party that stands against their failed ideas and that’s the Conservatives. pic.twitter.com/vjQmRQ4V7n — Kemi Badenoch (@KemiBadenoch) May 24, 2026 Enjoy obscurity, Tories! The cost of living is an ongoing crisis in modern Britain. In response to this, the government has unveiled a ‘Summer Savings’ plan which will provide minimal savings for a single month — specifically August. In response to this, Sky News’s Trevor Phillips has laid into Labour minister Darren Jones: As several people have pointed out, do Trevor's figures add up? — Saul Staniforth (@SaulStaniforth) May 24, 2026 Summer Savings As we reported on 22 May, the Great British Summer savings plan includes free bus tickets for children, in addition to: a temporary reduction in VAT across Scotland, England and Wales…

Reform’s new overtime tax policy torn to shreds

  • Post author:

Reform UK unveiled an attention-grabbing new policy proposal on Sunday 24 May: Reform will scrap income tax on overtime. It's time to make work pay. pic.twitter.com/Q0luvT9WPM — Nigel Farage MP (@Nigel_Farage) May 24, 2026 The problem for Reform is that the policy has also grabbed the attention of people who think things through. Reform — “Avoidance opportunities” Sam Dumitriu of the Britain Remade thinktank had 5 points on the new policy: 1. This appears to be an import of Trump’s extremely dumb (but clearly popular) ‘no tax on tips’ policy. 2. If your aim is to boost growth and incentivise work,…

Reform’s fascist deportation plan ‘to cost £50bn’

  • Post author:

Reform UK’s Robert Jenrick became unstuck when questioned about his party’s mass deportation plans. Reform is panicking about a party to its right in Makerfield

  • Post author:
  • Post last modified:8 June 2026

Reform UK was once an insurgent political party that aimed to steal hard-right voters from the Tory Party. At first, it seemed like Reform’s goal was to force concessions from the Tories — much like how UKIP did with the Brexit referendum. Surprising many, however, Reform actually ended up overtaking the Tories in the polls. In response, Farage attempted to replace the Conservatives completely by softening some of the rhetoric and accepting bus-loads of Tory defectors. Predictably, this led to another insurgent political party emerging — this time seeking to steal hard-right voters from Reform UK. The party in question is…
