Reform candidate Kenyon exposed as sexist on Question Time

Reform UK’s MP candidate for Makerfield, Robert Kenyon, once self-proclaimed himself as a sexist, but now he is running for parliament he coincidentally won’t accept the label and insists: I’ve got nothing but respect for women… I’ve said things years ago that I wouldn’t say now. However, his complete refusal to apologise for comments that many women rightfully found deeply offensive exposed another issue with the Makerfield ‘hopeful’. Instead of showing an ounce of humility or reflecting on why people objected, he doubled down. That response only strengthened the perception that he places his own views and sense of certainty above…

  • Post author:
  • Post last modified:9 June 2026

Green party deputy leader Mothin Ali has condemned a firebomb attack targeting two Muslim Greens who were working to make the UK a better place for all its people. The West Midlands couple, identified as Farrukh and Salma, saw their car reduced to smoking wreckage by the attack. Ali called for West Midlands Police to treat the matter seriously. He condemned the anti-Muslim speech of Reform and other politicians and for everyone to work together to create an “island of belonging” instead of inciting hate and division: View this post on Instagram A post shared by Green Party of England &…

‘Non-working’ royals raking in cash and living rent-free in palaces – including Andrew

  • Post author:
  • Post last modified:9 June 2026

An audit by the National Audit Office (NAO) has revealed the disgraced former prince Andrew and his kids are making cash and/or living rent-free in palaces, despite performing no official duties. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was stripped of his titles over the Epstein scandal. He has also been exposed engaging in dodgy dealings as UK trade envoy role his mother pushed for him to receive. His brother Charles paid out millions to settle the lawsuit brought against Andrew by the late Virginia Giuffre. But Andrew has continued receiving rental payments on the Royal Lodge estate he received rent-free from the Crown. The amounts…

Celtic fan groups unite in opposition over Robbie Keane appointment

  • Post author:
  • Post last modified:9 June 2026

Robbie Keane’s path back to Celtic has hit a massive wall, is due to him not condemning Israel’s ongoing genocide in Palestine. A club where he once dazzled on loan is no longer warmly remembering him for his footballing achievements. What began as murmurs of discomfort has now hardened into robust opposition. Dozens of Celtic supporter groups have signed a joint letter opposing Keane’s potential appointment, citing his decision to manage Maccabi Tel Aviv during Israel’s genocide of the Palestinians in Gaza. The message is blunt. The mood is serious and the pressure on the Celtic board is unmistakable. Celtic fans aren’t…

European Union has policy of double standards when dealing with the Palestinian cause

In January 2024, the EU established sanctions against individuals and entities supporting Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. It has now broadened these sanctions to also target members of Hamas’ Political Bureau, known as the ‘Politburo’. EU extends Hamas sanctions to include 10 political members According to the EU, the Politburo is a decision-making body, so its members are “responsible for violent actions carried out by Hamas.” 10 members now find themselves sanctioned. Measures include travel bans and the: freezing of all funds and economic resources belonging to, owned, held or controlled by, members of the Politburo. This decision comes as the Israeli…

Ollie Robinson’s roar at Lord’s

  • Post author:
  • Post last modified:9 June 2026

England’s Test summer did not so much begin as detonate. Sixteen wickets, two rain breaks, one rampant seamer back from the sidelines, and a Lord’s crowd jolted awake before they had even settled into their seats — the kind of relentless cricket England at Lord’s so often produces. By stumps, New Zealand were 61 for 6 chasing England’s 140 all out, and Ollie Robinson had rewritten the script of his own career in a single breathless over. In truth, anyone who has witnessed England at Lord’s knows how quickly things can change. What unfolded on day one was not tidy, was…

Epic pro-Palestine march will take place despite blocking attempts

  • Post author:
  • Post last modified:9 June 2026

A mammoth 25-mile Palestine march is set to take place on Saturday June 6, despite disgraceful attempts by pro-genocide loyalists to stop it. The March for Gaza in the north of Ireland will run from Lurgan to Omeath, just over the border, covering a distance mirroring the length of Gaza itself. Zionist terrorists have dropped the equivalent of more than six atomic bombs on the tiny area since beginning their holocaust in October 2023. Organisers, the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign Lurgan (IPSC Lurgan) say the march will: …raise money for medical supplies, temporary shelters and much needed food and water for…

Legacy media platforms ex-military figures without disclosing war industry links

  • Post author:

British legacy media insist on platforming ex-military ‘experts’ without mentioning their war industry side-hustles — an issue the Canary has pointed out repeatedly. A deep-dive investigation has now revealed just how widespread the issue really is. In April 2026, the Canary reported that former Labour MP and ex-NATO chief Lord Robertson was platformed to talk about war spending without his long-standing links to the military industry being disclosed. You can read about here and here. NGO Action on Armed Violence (AOAV) on 3 June that an analysis of media reports between 2015 and May 2026: NGO Action on Armed Violence (AOAV)…

Sánchez must act against Spanish police after brutal attack on pensioner protester

  • Post author:
  • Post last modified:9 June 2026

Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez has a solid record of resistance to Israel’s genocide in Gaza. But he must now show emphatic action against Spanish police after another brutal attack on peaceful protesters. In late May, police in Bilbao launched a vicious and unprovoked attack on volunteers of a humanitarian flotilla as they returned from abduction by Israel as they tried to reach Gaza. Now, as teachers were peacefully protesting in Valencia for public education and better pay, a 68-year-old retired teacher was cold-bloodedly shoved over from behind without warning. The 31 May 2026 attack slammed the woman’s face into the road…

Count Binface Makerfield manifesto would stitch up Burnham

  • Post author:
  • Post last modified:9 June 2026

Count Binface is among the candidates for the Makerfield by-election. So voters will have at least one coherent manifesto to ponder. UK politics has a long and rich tradition of electoral candidates who apparently exist in a different universe from everyone else. It’s how we ended up with Boris Johnson and Liz Truss as successive PMs. But aside from the utter deadbeats standing for allegedly serious parties, there’s the novelty candidate. The Official Monster Raving Loony Party pretty much wrote the book on this sort of thing. And its leader, Alan ‘Howlin’ Laud Hope, will be lining up alongside 13 others…

Starmer finds his backbone as he stands up to Elon Musk “interfering in our politics”

  • Post author:
  • Post last modified:9 June 2026

UK PM Keir Starmer appears to have found his backbone as he strengthens his rhetoric towards divisive X owner Elon Musk, saying the billionaire: has been interfering in our politics in the last few days, trying to whip up division. That is not who we are in Britain. Adding: When it comes to disgusting images on Grok, we take Grok on and fight, because that’s who we are as a country. Starmer is right, of course, which is a refreshing change of pace. However, condemnation alone achieves precious little. The government must urgently curb the influence that super-rich elites wield over…

Shadow equalities minister wants any explanation other than racism for Black maternal deaths

  • Post author:
  • Post last modified:9 June 2026

Shadow Equalities Minister Claire Coutinho has suggested that we need to be “clear-eyed” when considering the issue of Black maternal deaths. Apparently, ‘the left’ (and also, you know, the NHS) are too quick to blame racism for the fact that Black people are three times more likely to die during childbirth. We’re having this whole ridiculous ‘debate’ again because, over the last week, Reform leader Nigel Farage has redoubled his attacks on DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) initiatives. Those of us who don’t receive our talking points directly from Trump’s fascist America may know these better as EDI (Equality, Diversity and…

MPs warn Palantir influence over British state is ‘unacceptable point of weakness’

  • Post author:
  • Post last modified:9 June 2026

MPs from the influential science committee have warned AI war firm Palantir’s increasing power over the UK state is an “unacceptable weakness”. The committee also noted the firm, which is very close to the current Keir Starmer government, espouses openly far-right politics. The Science, Innovation and Technology Committee urged the government to: exercise the 2027 break clause in the NHS Federated Data Platform Contract with Palantir and either develop an in-house replacement or seek an alternative UK provider. The MPs also rejected the idea Palantir was the only firm capable of providing services the UK needs: The report argues that vendor…

Genocidal Ben-Gvir calls Lebanon ceasefire a ‘serious mistake’

  • Post author:
  • Post last modified:9 June 2026

Israel’s minister of national security and genocide fanatic, Itamar Ben-Gvir, has called the potential ceasefire with Lebanon a ‘serious mistake’. Importantly, the ceasefire would effectively surrender Southern Lebanon to Israel, with zero promise from Israel to stop attacking. Obviously, Hezbollah has declined the offer. So the “ceasefire” would effectively cede southern Lebanon to Israel without any promise by Israel to stop attacking. Hezbollah has declined this offer. https://t.co/RLXooXsPYb — Ryan Grim (@ryangrim) June 4, 2026 Israeli terrorists Israel Katz, Israel’s Defence Minister, said the U.S.-brokered Lebanon ceasefire declaration includes: an unequivocal statement on the disarmament of Hezbollah, the removal of Hezbollah…

Breaking: Swiss court shames UK by refusing to criminalise anti-genocide protest

  • Post author:
  • Post last modified:9 June 2026

A court in Geneva has confirmed that peaceful opposition to Israel’s genocide in Gaza is a legitimate right. As Palestinian exile Muzna Shihabi notes, the landmark decision:  Acknowledges that a genocide is underway.  Rules that nothing justifies sanctioning peaceful activists.  Confirms that freedom of expression protects non-violent civil disobedience and that repressing these mobilizations is incompatible with democracy. A lesson for the genocide-enabling Starmer government and its war on free speech and peaceful protest, as respondents are already noting: @Keir_Starmer @YvetteCooperMP Imagine how it must feel to finish your day in the knowledge that your actions let you sleep with a…

Israel is still burning families in Gaza

While the world’s attention has moved onto other horrors, Israel continues to bomb Gaza and burn families. The so-called ‘ceasefire’ is just a curtain to hide its atrocities. Stormont Justice Bill permits the state to keep your data for a lifetime

  • Post author:
  • Post last modified:9 June 2026

The Justice Bill currently passing through the Northern Ireland Assembly will allow the police to retain a person’s biometric data for a massive 75 years. This is despite the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) previously ruling that indefinite holding of such information is a violation of privacy. 75 years may not be indefinite, but it’s essentially a lifetime, meaning the difference is largely moot. More worryingly, the bill allows the state to keep information such as fingerprints and DNA for most of a century in cases of “terrorism-related” offences. This could include cases of inviting “support for a proscribed organisation”.…

Labour ignores failure of anti-nuclear weapons conference it spoke at

Countries including the UK failed to reach agreement at a UN nuclear conference in New York on how to eliminate nuclear weapons, while the Labour Government declined to comment despite sending a minister who spoke at the opening session. The 11th Review Conference of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) took place from 27 April to 22 May, bringing together states parties, observers and non-governmental organisations. A House of Commons Library briefing published on 20 April said participants included treaty members, observers and NGOs who: discuss[ed] the functioning of the treaty, the implementation of its provisions and the state of nuclear disarmament…
